The challenge: several capable partners, no single line of delivery
Enterprise-systems programmes at scale rarely fail because a partner is incapable. They fail in the space between partners, where each is delivering correctly against its own scope and nobody owns the join.
The symptom is a programme where every status report is green and the integrated result slips anyway.
The approach: a data and delivery workstream that owns the join
ASE runs a data and delivery workstream inside the group’s enterprise-systems and analytics programme, coordinating the external delivery partners across the SAP landscape. The coordination is the deliverable, not an overhead attached to one.
The partners coordinated include Phoron Consulting and loudspring management. Naming them is deliberate: the work is coordination between capable firms, and describing it as anything else would misrepresent what the group has bought.
In practice the workstream holds three things: a single view of what each partner is actually delivering against, the data definitions that have to agree across the landscape before any report is trustworthy, and the sequencing between partners so one is not blocked waiting on another’s assumption.
The results: an integrated programme rather than parallel ones
The engagement is ongoing. What it establishes is a single delivery line across the landscape, with the data workstream inside the programme rather than reporting on it from outside.
The client is one of Austria’s established dairy groups, founded in 1898 and reporting around one thousand employees in Austria, roughly 790 million euro of revenue in 2025, and IFS and BRC certification. Those figures are the company’s own; a third-party business directory gives a lower headcount, so the source is worth naming when the number is used.
